The "Cold Weather" policy is in effect at Shelter. This policy is put in place during the coldest months of the year (typically December thru April).
During this time the participants who would not otherwise be eligible to return to shelter, due to time constraints, will be allowed to stay through the cold weather months.
Due to the increase in clients during "cold weather" shelter is prepared to accept donations of:
Immediate Need:
Coffee
Sugar
Towels
Blankets
Backpacks/Duffle Bags
Styrofoam Cups - 12oz
Socks and Underwear
Sheets (Twin/Single)
Undergarments (thermal)
General Need:
Toothpaste
Deodorant
Gloves
Scarves
Coats (including plus sizes)
Toothbrushes
Toilet paper
Hats
Quarters for laundry
These items can be dropped off at Humility of Mary Shelter, 1016 West 5th Street in Davenport between the hours of 7am – 6pm every day. If you need to make
